Delays in Medicare Payments will occur if a PIN/PTAN is included on claims, effective May 23, 2008 .

All Claims Must Contain an NPI ONLY!
All claims, paper and EMC, must contain an NPI only in both the "primary" (billing, pay-to, and rendering) and secondary (referring/ordering) fields of the claim, effective May 23, 2008 and forward.
