Interruption in IVR and CSR Availability
Due to routine system maintenance of the DME Jurisdiction C claims processing system, as well as the upcoming Independence Day holiday, there will be some interruptions in the availability of the CIGNA Government Services Provider Call Center and Interactive Voice Response Unit (IVR). Please take note of the schedule below.
Thursday, July 2, 2009 - The call center will close one hour early at 4:00 pm CDT due to routine system maintenance. The IVR will also be taken offline at 4:00 pm. Note that the staff training which normally takes place from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on Thursday mornings will not take place and the call center will remain open at that time.
Friday, July 3, 2009 – The call center and IVR will remain closed in observation of Independence Day.
Saturday, July 4, 2009 – Most IVR functionality will remain unavailable due to routine system maintenance of the Common Working Files (local claim status may be available at this time). The IVR is expected to become fully available again by 6:00 am CDT on Monday, July 6.
Saturday & Sunday, July 11-12, 2009 – The IVR will be unavailable due to routine system maintenance. The IVR is expected to become available again by 6:00 am CDT on Monday, July 13.
These scheduled interruptions do not affect CEDI; you may submit your electronic claims as usual.
