Medicare Claims Express Installation
Thank you for using the free billing software, Medicare Claims Express (MCE) version 3.2.2, to meet your Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) needs. If you are interested in MCE 3.2.2, but have not enrolled for MCE with CIGNA Government Services, please contact an EDI Analyst at 1-866-520-4022 (Tennessee/Idaho) or 1-866-352-1608 (North Carolina) for the appropriate applications and instructions.
Before downloading the MCE 3.2.2 Software Program, please take a few minutes to ensure your computer meets the following system requirements:
- IBM or IBM Compatible Computer
- Pentium 100 or higher
- Windows Me, 2000, or XP
- 64MB RAM
- 100MB of Free Disk Space
- Modem Supporting Hayes Z Modem Protocol
- IBM Compatible Printer
Once you have enrolled for MCE with Medicare and meet the system requirements for the software, you are ready to download the MCE 3.2.2 software program. You must be enrolled for MCE with CIGNA Government Solutions in order to download the MCE software program.
The MCE 3.2.2 Software Program is not for redistribution. Unauthorized use of this program is strictly prohibited.
DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING Medicare Claims Express v3.2.2
After accepting the disclaimer on the following page, you'll be asked to submit some information and then you'll click on a link to begin downloading the software.
- Self-Extracting .EXE (14.3MB)
- Approximate Download Time=1 Hour @ 28.8K; 30 Minutes @ 56K)
After you click on the link to download the program:
- Click on "Save the program to disk" to complete the download.
- Save the self-extracting executable file (and remember where you save it).
- Launch the self-extracting executable file, unzip the files, and close the zip window.
- Launch the setup.exe file and follow the installation instructions on the screen. Unless you changed the "unzip" location, the UpdateMCE.exe file will be in the C:/MCE Zipped directory.
