Q: I'm getting duplicate messages. Why is this happening?

A: If you're a DME MAC Jurisdiction C subscriber, it's possible that the email address you used to receive Palmetto GBA ListServ information was automatically transferred to CIGNA Government Services (CGS) when the Jurisdiction C contract was awarded to CGS. If you were a former ListServ member under Palmetto AND you also subscribed to the CGS ListServ, you probably have a duplicate membership. At the bottom of each message you receive you'll see a link to unsubscribe. Simply click this link and follow the instructions provided.

On rare occasions we do experience server difficulties that prevent us from knowing with complete certainty that a particular message was sent successfully.

Q: I used to receive ListServ notifications all the time, but now I don't receive any at all. Why don't I get my messages?

A: CMS (The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) has requested that its Medicare carriers disseminate information based on a predetermined list of provider and supplier specialty areas of interest. Please update your profile and make sure you've selected at least one of these specialty areas of interest. Also, you may have indicated an interest in a specialty that receives very little mail. The bulk of our ListServ notices are targeted at "General - Part B" and "General - DME MAC Jurisdiction C" subscribers. If you haven't selected one of these interest groups, this may be the reason your volume of mail has decreased.

Q: The links in my messages are always broken. What's going on?

A: Your email service might be the trouble. Many email services (including Hotmail, Yahoo, Lycos, etc.) and corporate network environments tend to "wrap" the text of a message, breaking the link in the process.
