The Provider Outreach and Education (POE) team of CIGNA Government Services is pleased to continue our Summer-long Specialty Workshop Series with a "Physical Therapy Specialty" workshop on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at the Airport Marriott in Greensboro, North Carolina. This workshop is scheduled from 8am-11am ET, with sign-in beginning at 7:30am ET.
Topics to be covered in this workshop include:
- Medicare coverage and billing guidelines for Physical Therapy services
- Extension of Therapy Cap Exceptions
- Proper use of the revised Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN)
- Principles of medical record documentation
- Common coding, billing, and documentation errors and resolutions
