Important Changes to the TN/ID EDI Support Services Help Desk

Effective January 1, 2005 the following changes will be implemented:

We will now have live telephone coverage during normal business hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST.

We will no longer have a voicemail option after business hours. Website inquires will still be handled as they are today. To contact us via email, please use our Online Help Center at the following address: http://www.cignamedicare.com/medicare_dynamic/customer_service/index.html

We will be consolidating the EDI technical help desk telephone line into our EDI support line. Please direct all TN/ID EDI related questions (with the exception of password resets) to the following number: 866.520.4022. Please continue to contact the CSC for all password and mailbox resets at 1.800.810.3388.

Note: NC EDI submitters should continue to direct their NC EDI related questions to 866.352.1608.

Updated Surgical Add-On Code(s) Listing

Certain surgical procedure codes are add-on codes that are always billed with another service. These add-on codes have a ZZZ indicated in the post-operative period. Post-operative work is not included in the fee schedule payment for the ZZZ codes.

Listed below are the surgical add-on codes and their primary procedure codes. Payment will not be made for these add-on codes unless billed in addition to accompanying primary procedure.
